Understanding urgent and emergency care Adrian Birch 2018-01-05 19:42:36

Many people are still unsure of the best place to go for help if they have an urgent health problem.
In order to access the right care at the right time, we would like to help people understand the different options and how to make the most appropriate choices.
The NHS Choices website includes a very useful page overview of urgent and emergency care options, such as ringing 111 or 999, whether to visit A&E or a MIU (minor injuries unit), how your pharmacist could help, and where to go for a mental health crisis or dental emergency.
Please cascade this information to your friends, family members, staff, service users, volunteers and others in your community who would benefit.
