NOTICE OF VACANCY

IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR

PARISH OF               

CREECH ST MICHAEL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

 

 

that due to the resignation of Councillor Finch a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.

 

 

In accordance with Rule 5 of the Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) Rules 2006, where the vacancy occurs within six months before the day on which the councillor whose office is vacant would regularly have retired, an election shall not be held and the vacancy may be filled either by co-option by the Parish, or at the next ordinary election of councillors on 2 May 2019.

Anyone interested should speak to the Clerk ahead of the meeting

The planning Appeal hearing which is being held in the Albemarle Centre in Taunton continues on Friday now.
 
Transport leaves Village Hall on Friday 18th at 8.15a.m..
 
*Leave Albemarle Centre 1pm
*Leave Village Hall 1.45pm
*Leave Albemarle Centre 3pm
 
*All  departures subject to appeal hearing  timing which may yet change
 
Transport for further appeal dates will be confirmed here as we are informed.

Children, Families & Schools Worker 

This is an exciting new post working across 3 rural parishes and alongside 2 thriving church Primary Schools on the outskirts of Taunton. We are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced person to help us build and develop the church’s work amongst children and families in both the church and school setting - living and telling the story of Jesus.

18 hours per week

Salary £10,840 plus pension & work-related expenses
