A G E N D A for the meeting of Creech St Michael Parish Council to be held at 7.00pm
on Monday, 2nd February 2015 in the Lower Committee Room of the Village Hall, Creech St Michael.
(The Public and Press are entitled to attend. There will be an opportunity for the Public to speak before the start of the meeting.)
1. Chairperson’s welcome.
2. To receive any apologies for absence.
3. Vacancies on the Parish Council. Election of Members to be Co-opted onto the Council. There is a
vacancy (please speak to the Clerk in advance of attending the meeting if you are interested in being co-opted onto
the PC).
4. Declarations of Interests.
4.1 Declarations of Individual Members.
4.2 Responsibilities of Members to Declare. The Clerk to propose that SALC be invited to explain the
responsibilities of Councillors at the March meeting.
5. Flooding. Inspector Tim Powell-Gill of the Avon & Somerset Police to address the PC regarding road closures
between Creech & Ruishton in cases of flooding.
6. To receive County & District Councillors’ Reports.
7. Minutes – to approve the Minutes of the CSM PC Meeting held on 5th January 2015.
8. Matters arising from the Minutes of the meeting held on 5th January 2015.

11. Recreation Park. (YG,SH,KR,CS) 11.1 Update report. 11.2 Qtrly Play Equipment Inspection (KR), 11.3 Car
Parking/additional teams at the Rec Park (YG), 11.4 Fencing (SH/DW/IW) repair update, 11.5 Drain covers
(SH,DW),Inspection and need for replacement. 11.6 Signage. Proposal for signing (YG,SH,KR,CS). 11.7 Appt of
Architect (CS). To report on the due diligence process conducted and to propose the appointment of an Architect in
order to assist the planning of the site and to assist the preparation for a building to achieve planning. To call an
additional (single agenda item) meeting In order to brief the Architect on what the PC wants from the building and
on the site.
12. Village Day 2014 (CS). To decide whether to hold a village day.
13. Merlyn’s Copse (KH, GL, Clerk). Clerk to propose termination of the contract to sell the Copse and to update
the PC on progressing the sale of the Copse.
14. Parish Plan. (KH. IW, Clerk). To propose and agree arrangements for consultation.
15. Annual Parish Mtg. All PCllrs to suggest and agree speakers and format.
16. Parish Post. (Clerk). The PC to determine the future of the Post.
17. Allotments. (KR). To update on Creech Allotment Societies request for lease extension and additional use of land.
18. Highways. (DF, GL,GH) 18.1 Langaller Road. Updating following the reopening. 18. 2 Hyde Lane. Parking,
Impact of Development sites, condition of road and verges 18.3 North End virtual Footway project. Update on
progress following the Langaller Road reopening. 18. 4 A38 Adsborough. Update. 18.5 Defects. To be reported.
(GH, GL).
19. Footpaths and Rights of Way (GL). Defects to be reported.
20. Correspondence. To consider any correspondence received that Cllrs wish to raise.
21. New Matters to be carried forward. The Clerk to propose CIL briefing in April.
