A meeting of Creech St Michael Parish Council is to be held at 7pm on Monday 4th March 2013 in the Lower Committee Room of the Village Hall, Creech St Michael.

6.   Recreation Field. (KR,YG,GH,SW). (1) Installation of play equipment and a MUGA. Update on the project, movement of pitch, to consider quotations to alter fencing/car park and an opening event. (2) Caretaker.  (3)  Reinstatement of former site office. To learn of the progress to the PC request to reinstate verge. (4) Verge ownership. An update. (5) Donation to the Recreation Ground. An update.  

 

7.  Planning. (SH,PC,GH,SW) 7.1 Developer Applications. To reflect on any activity. 7.2 Planning Compliance. This is an amendment to the     drainage arrangements of this planning application which was submitted to TDBC in dec but is still to be decided by TDBC.

8.  Accounts. (1) Invoices to be paid. To include Clerks March Salary £598.48, Caretakers March Salary £216.66, HMRC Tax due on Clerks and Caretakers March Salary, Clerks March Expenses £81.70, SALC Affiliation Fee 13/14 £598.22, Came & Co Play ins on new Play Equip Ins 21/2/13-18/7/13 £348.78, TDBC Deane DLO Dog Bin emptying 2012 £604.03 and British Gas Pavilion Gas Standing Charge. To consider other invoices for payment. (2) Monies received and banked. Parish Magazine adverts £60 from Farmers Arms and £110 from Sharman t/a Heathfield Hair and Beauty. (3) Accounts. Report to end of Dec 2012 (previously circulated).

 

9.  Flooding. (GL,PC) (1). Somerset Flood Summit. To confirm attendance arrangements for 15th March for the summit being held at the  County Cricket Ground (with Jeremy Browne MP in attendance). (2) Ham Road Field hedges - from the junction at the Creech river bridge next to the abattoir, right down through to Lane End. To consider a request to ask owners to clear ditches.
    

10.Highways (GL, KH and PC). (1 DF) North End Update on the installation of a virtual footway (2 CS) A38 Adsborough (3) Update of issues reported/identified incl pot holes in Arundells Way and Cooks Way, (4) Speed  Indicator Devices update on PC request (5) Hyde Lane (DF). Proposed closure of part of Hyde Lane (past cottages) and speed humps through the new estate. (6) Vicarage Lawns. (DF) Response from SCC to request to remove private parking sign.

11.Footpaths and Pavements (SH, PC) Update report, to include the overgrown hedge at Coxes Bungalow and slippery paths in St Michaels Road and Charlton Road.

 

12. Correspondence. To consider any correspondence received that Cllrs wish to raise.

 

13.  Merlyn’s Copse. (KR, GL) Update report on the Copse and to consider a quotation for the removal of three trees.

 

14  Annual Parish Meeting. 26th April 2013 to be held in the Village Hall (Doors Open 7pm for 7.30pm start). Cllrs to make suggestion for format and content.

 

15.  No Cold Calling Zone. (KR) Update on progress.

 

16.  Noticeboards. (GL) Update on actions taken to repair North End notice board and reposition the board at the garage to Arundells Way.

 

17.  To receive County & District Councillors’ Reports.

 

18.  Matters to be carried forward to the next Parish Council Meeting.
