A G E N D A for the meeting of Creech St Michael Parish Council to be held at 7.00pm
on Monday, 17th November 2014 in the Lower Committee Room of the Village Hall, Creech St Michael.

1. Chairperson’s welcome.
2. To receive any apologies for absence.
3. Declarations of Individual Members.
4. To receive County & District Councillors’ Reports.
5. Individual Parish Councillors responsibilities.
6. Merlyn’s Copse (KH, GL). To consider the way forward for the Copse and the removal of the tree stumps.
7. Recreation Park. (YG,SH,KR,CS) 7.1 Rec Park Development. To consider the Architects recommendations to
conduct a users (incl potential users) consultation day and to carry out site visits as well as to consider whether to buy
the Copse/s at the rear of the Park or not. 7.2 Park Fencing. To consider the need for repairs. 7.3 Park drain
covers To consider the need to replace. 7.4 Update report.
8. TME (KH,GL, Clerk). An update report and to consider inserting an annual renewal clause into the proposed lease.
9. Planning. Applications received: Panel to report on the application received;

10. Accounts: 10.1 To approve payment 3D Security (29.9.14-2.11.14) at Rec Park £270.00, Jim Pike (Repair of
Extension Leads) £75.00 and SLCC (Clerks Training) £82.80 10.2 Accounts. Reconciliation and report attached for
the first half year. The Council’s receipts for the period 1st April 2014 to 30 Sept 2014 is £13,068.40 and the
expenditure for the same period is £35,748.92. 10.3 Risk Assessment of Assets. To consider the report
(separately circulated) on the annual Risk Assessment of the Councils Assets. 10.4 Fin Regulation and Controls.
To consider the report (separately circulated) on raising the maximum £ sum which the Chairperson in conjunction
with the Clerk can authorise in the event of an emergency. 10.5 PAT Testing. To consider an annual contract.
11. Highways 11.1 North End virtual Footway project. Update (DF), 11.2 Hyde Lane. Parking (between the school
and the entrance to the new medical centre) and impact of new Developments. 11.3 (DF) Updates on A38
Adsborough , Access to Creech St Michael from Monkton Heathfield (DF), installation of lighting and speed calming in
Hyde Lane (GH, Clerk). 11.4 Langaller Road Closure. 11.5 Defects reported. (GH, GL).
12. Correspondence. To consider any correspondence received that Cllrs wish to raise.
