A G E N D A for the Meeting of Creech St Michael Parish Council is to be held at 7.00pm on Monday, 2nd September 2013 in the Lower Committee Room of the Village Hall, Creech St Michael.

5. Vacancies on the Parish Council. Election of Members to be Co-opted onto the Council. There is a vacancy (please speak to the Clerk in advance of the meeting)

7. Minutes – to approve the Minutes of the meeting held on 5th August 2013.

11. Recreation Park (SW,CS,KR,YG). 11.1 Update report from Panel to include Improvement programme, installation of benches, cycle racks 11.2 Adjacent Copse/s. (SW) Progress report on possible purchase. 11.3 TME. (SW) To report progress on the proposed lease. 11.4 Reinstatement of former site office. Update on PC request to reinstate former store area verge. 11.5 Verge ownership. An update. 11.6 Donation to the Recreation Ground.

To consider the recommended increase of 1%. 13.2 To approve payment of the Clerks and Clarks Wages , the Clerks Expense’s £00.00, HMRC (Tax due on Salaries) £192.95 , B Gas (Pavilion electricity 31 5 13 – 4 7 13) £53.40. 13.3 Monies received and banked since the last meeting; Parish Post Advert Income for 2013; Taunton Funeral Services £80.00, Clive Anthony Design £10, Farmers Arms, West Hatch £10. 13.4 Accounts. Report attached. The Council’s receipts for the period 1st April 2013 to 30 June 2013 are £68,534.05 and the expenditure for the same period is £4,686.35.13.5 Risk Assessment of Assets. To consider and agree the approach to the annual RA of the Councils Assets.


14. Highways 14.1 Updates on A38 Adsborough (DF), North End (DF) Access to Creech St Michael from Monkton Heathfield (DF), and Wessex Water (Ham) Sewerage Works projects (GL/GH), installation of traffic calming and signage in Hyde Lane and damaged Fencing at North End as well as defects reported. (CS,GL,KH and DF) 14.2 Verges. To discuss whether to pay for additional grass cutting of verges. 14.3 S.I.D Speed checks. An update.


15. Footpaths and Rights of Way an update. (SH, PC).


16. Flooding. (PC,GL) Details of any response (none received to date) from SCC to the PC’s bid and 2 resident groups bids to the SCC flooding mitigation fund.


17. Website. (CS) An update on the future arrangements for website hosting.


18. Merlyn’s Copse (SW, GL) Update on sale process and maintenance.


19. North End. Clerk to report on acquiring of a Dogbin.


20. West View Park. Response from TDBC to the request that signs be installed to encourage owners not to allow their dogs to foul.


21. Parish Post. (CS) update.


22. Correspondence:- To consider any correspondence received that Cllrs wish to raise.
