Agenda for the Meeting of Creech St Michael Parish Council [CSMPC] to be held in the Village Chown Hall on Monday 10 January 2022 at 7:00pm
*As the Parish Council recognises the risks of transmitting Covid and supports the latest guidance, Cllrs and the public will be asked to respect the measures in place at the PC meeting. [This will include ventilation, social distancing, wearing of masks and hand sanitising] The meeting whilst open to the public may have to be limited depending on demand if a large number wish to attend. Alternatively, an issue can be raised at the PC by emailing the Clerk before Thursday 6 January, 12 midday and the Clerk will then put the question to the Parish Council at the meeting and feedback any response. A further option is to appoint a representative where a number of residents wish to raise the same point. – Thank you for your support.

Parish Council finances [two proposals have been put forward for PC consideration] [R]
-Cllrs to agree to employ a Locum Clerk/RFO to make PC payments to suppliers, pay employee salaries and report to the PC. Annabelle Peters (Chair CSM Parish Council).
-It is proposed, in order to ensure that the Parish Council finances are properly managed until a new clerk is in post following the departure of the current clerk or sooner if appropriate, that the previous clerk who is familiar with CSMPC accounts be appointed on a rolling temporary basis to manage remotely the cashbook, close the accounts at year end and deal with internal and external auditors, reporting to the Finance Committee as appropriate. – Peter Brown (Chair CSM Finance Committee. |

PC meetings in February- to agree if an extraordinary meeting is necessary to discuss the second phase of the Monkton Heathfield development comprising of a residential and mixed use Garden Neighbourhood including up to 1210 No. dwellings, up to 4.83 hectares of land for strategic employment uses, 8 hectares of land for a through school, mixed use district centre, community facilities, green infrastructure, drainage works, land for a 600 No. space 'Bus and Ride' facility, relief road (EER2) and associated works and for Full planning permission for the erection of 240 No. dwellings with access, including temporary access arrangements, and associated infrastructure works on land east of the A38, south of Walford Cross, Monkton Heathfield.- AP [R] |
