Rec Park – security

  1. To discuss the security, safety, and costs of closing the rec park, particularly when the park is in use after opening hours.

  2. To agree how the locking and unlocking of the Rec Park should be managed on:
    a.) a temporary basis.

b.) a long-term basis

  1. To agree a budget for the locking and unlocking of the Rec Park.

  2. To discuss any quotes for the locking up of the rec park.

  3. To agree new locks for the Rec Park

New Matters to be carried forward

Council to decide to exclude Public and Press for these items


  1. To vote on paying the new Clerk for the 83 hours she has worked in the handover period and up to the 12 July 2021 and on recent Council business in excess of her contracted hours;


  1. To confirm that the Clerk should be ‘auto enrolled’ into the PC pension scheme backdated to her employment start date, (as per her Statement of Terms and Conditions)


  1. To receive an update from the Personnel Committee (based on discussions when they were quorate) – on the current employment matter(s) and potential ways forward;

  2. To consider the FOI request, the questions Cllr Davidson has raised and the PC response;

  3. To elect additional Councillors onto the Personnel Committee to make it Quorate;

  4. To re-affirm the Personnel Committee budget (as was agreed at the July PC meeting).

Monday 2 August at 7pm in the CSM Village Chown Hall

Monday 6 September at 7pm in the CSM Village Chown Hall


Public Notes

As the Parish Council still recognises the risks of transmitting Covid, the meeting whilst open to the public may have to be limited depending on demand if a large number wish to attend. Alternatively, an issue can be raised at the PC by emailing the Clerk before Tuesday 20 July, 5pm and the Clerk will then put the question to the Parish Council at the meeting and feedback any response. A further option is to appoint a representative where a number of residents wish to raise the same point.
