THE LANGALLER PARK DEVELOPMENT

The background to the Langaller Park development and the latest updates as it starts to take shape within the Parish.

LANGALLER PARK (FORMERLY MH2) DEVELOPMENT

The Langaller Park development is a major new site identified for housing, located within the Parishes of Creech St Michael and West Monkton.  The proposed site includes up to 1,400 homes, new through-school provision with a 3G pitch and outdoor space, a large wetland area with multiple public open spaces throughout the site, a mobility hub and commercial and community facilities.  The development also introduces some significant changes to the A38 to reduce the speed of traffic through the proposed development and to discourage traffic from using the route through Creech Heathfield to Taunton.

The developers Persimmon Homes and Redrow Homes have now submitted an application for permission to develop the site.  You can view the full details of the application by following the link or by attending one of the consultation events being provided by the two Parish Councils.

Should the link not work correctly, you can search the Somerset Council Planning Portal using the reference 14/21/0047/HYB
